HEALTH INFO
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) maintains the best resource for travelers’ health information and individual country conditions and requirements.
Shoreland brings us Travel Health Online which features country by country profiles with detailed health information and disease risks as well as a travel medicine provider index.
The World Health Organization (WHO) also provides current vaccination requirements and health advice.
The International Society of Travel Medicine maintains a list of Travel Medicine Clinics operated by its members.
COUNTRY INFORMATION
The World Travel Guide Online presents information for virtually every country. Included is basic travel information, lodging, climate, business, basic visa information and more.
Travel Guide Directory offers country information on some 75 countires and most U.S. States as well as a great deal of general travel information.
CNN’s Travel Guide offers country and city information worldwide along with timely news, bargains and travel hotspots.
Travel.Org is a fine resource on over 100 countries that features recent reports by travelers as well as the standard stuff.
The Interknowledge Travel Network (now called Geographia) offers a variety of information on countries worldwide. Many of their pages are the official sites of the country tourist board.

AFRICA
Arab Net is the online resource for some two dozen arab countries in the Middle East and North Africa. The site contains an overview of each country, travel information, history, culture, government, transport, geography and business sections.
The University of Pennsylvania African Studies Center offers general resources about the continent as well as country specific pages with general information and other internet resources.
Index on Africa is a general purpose resource on the continent.
Africanet has detailed information on 9 countries and bits about the others.
AMERICAS
Latinworld presents most of the countries of South America, Central America, Mexico and the Carribean.
The Caribbean Online covers the main dozen destinations of the Caribbean with basic tourist information.
ASIA
EurAsiaNet provides information and analysis about political, economic, environmental and social developments in the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus, as well as in Russia, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia. The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), is the recognised authority on Pacific Asia travel and tourism. PATA provides marketing, research and educational opportunities to a membership of government tourist offices, airlines, hotels, travel agencies, tour operators and related companies.
