Philippines Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens

Please note that US citizens staying less than 21 days do not need a visa to visit the Philippines.


Tourist Visa Requirements
  • TOURIST VISA:

    • Submit your signed passport having one (1) completely blank “visa” page and 6 months validity beyond the travel dates. If you need help securing, renewing or updating your passport, please contact GenVisa at 800-845-8968 for requirements and fees.
    • Application Form (print from browser), fully completed, signed and Notarized.
    • 1 Recent Professional Passport-type photograph.
    • Contact form Click HERE to print.
    • Copy of round trip airline tickets or itinerary, or letter of confirmation from travel agent.
    • If you are staying at any hotels, please provide confirmation/reservations listing each travelers’ name.
    • A copy of the applicant’s recent bank statement or evidence of adequate finance, such as a letter from a bank, or money market statement.

Business Visa Requirements
  • BUSINESS VISA

    • Please note that US citizens staying less than 21 days do not need a visa to visit the Philippines.
    • Submit your signed passport having one (1) completely blank “visa” page and 6 months validity beyond the travel dates. If you need help securing, renewing or updating your passport, please contact GenVisa at 800-845-8968 for requirements and fees.
    • Application Form (print from browser), fully completed, signed and Notarized.
    • 1 Recent Professional Passport-type photograph.
    • Copy of return or onward tickets or travel agency/airline itinerary in each traveler’s name.
    • Contact form – Click HERto print.
    • A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of the Philippines, Visa Section, Washington D.C.

$69.00 per visa (21 days or more)

  • Add $45.00 per person for expedited service within 21 days.
  • Add $75.00 per  person for expedited service within 14 days.

Visa Fee:

  • $30.00 – Single Entry Visa valid for 90 days
  • $60.00 – Multiple Entry Visa valid for 6 months
  • $90.00 – Multiple Entry Visa valid for 1 year

Optional insurance:
$12.00 per passport:
  • in the unlikely event that your passport is lost or damaged in transit. This will cover your full out of pocket visa(s) and passport replacement costs up to $2,000.

  • $34.00 FedEx Letter (Next Business Day – up to three passports)
  • $24.00 FedEx 2nd Business Day
  • $55.00 FedEx Letter (Saturday Delivery)

Notes About Our Philippines Visa & Passport Services

The Embassy of Philippines in Washington DC issues visas only for residents of the following states: Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia.

If you do not reside in one of the states listed above, please call GenVisa for instructions.

The Philippines tourist visa is issued for a single entry for a period of 3 months from date of issue, provided the passport remains valid, for a period of stay not to exceed 59 days. Although vaccination certificate is not required for visa issuance, check with physician or local health clinic for vaccination requirements and recommendations.

Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued. GenVisa can assist with obtaining U.S. Passports, whether new issue or renewal.

Special requirements exist for U.S. Official and Diplomatic passport holders.

Send ALL the requirements above (and a check payable to Generations Visa) via traceable form of mail to the Generations Visa office immediately. GenVisa will hand-carry your application to the Embassy if applicable. Please allow at least 21 business days of processing time.
