Indonesia Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens

Indonesia E-Visa:

• A color copy of the data page of your passport (pp 2-3). Please make sure that your passport has at least six months validity beyond the travel date. If you need help securing, renewing, or updating your passport, please contact GenVisa at 800-845-8968 for requirements and fees.
• High Resolution passport type photo, taken within 6 months on complete white background without any shadows. Photo should be 2”x 2” with front view, no smiling, and no glasses.

• Application Form

• Itemized airline and tour itinerary showing travel dates and entry points in each traveler’s name.

Please mail all the required documents to GenVisa by mail to the address below.

TOURIST VISA:

• Submit your signed passport having two (2) completely blank “visa” pages and 6 months validity beyond the travel dates. If you need help securing, renewing or updating your passport, please contact GenVisa at 800-845-8968 for requirements and fees.
• Online Visa Application Form, completely filled, printed and signed. Please select Embassy of RI (Republic of Indonesia) in WASHINGTON, D.C. 
• 2 Recent Professional Passport-type photographs.
• A copy of bank statement(s), indicating the applicant’s current fund.
• Letter of employment, indicating the employment status of the applicant OR a proof of a retirement fund otherwise.
• Order Form – Click HERE to download the order form.
• Copy of return or onward tickets or travel agency/airline itinerary in each traveler’s name.
• Letter address to “Embassy of Indonesia” explaining purpose of trip to Indonesia.

BUSINESS VISA

• Submit your signed passport having two (2) completely blank “visa” pages and 6 months validity beyond the travel dates. If you need help securing, renewing or updating your passport, please contact GenVisa at 800-845-8968 for requirements and fees.
• Online Visa Application Form, completely filled, printed and signed. Please select Embassy of RI(Republic of Indonesia) in WASHINGTON, D.C.
• 2 Recent Professional Passport-type photographs.
• A copy of bank statement(s), indicating the applicant’s current fund at least 2 weeks prior to obtaining the visa.
• Letter of employment, indicating the employment status of the applicant or a proof of a retirement fund otherwise.
• Copy of return or onward tickets or travel agency/airline itinerary in each traveler’s name.

• For multiple entries visa, please include a letter of invitation from business sponsor in Indonesia, which describes the purpose of visit.
• A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Indonesia, Consular Division(Visa), Washington D.C.

The letter must explain all of the following:

• The purpose of travel
• Business reference to be visited in Indonesia
• Guarantee financial support for the applicant while in Indonesia
• Return transportation to the U.S.A
