Central African Republic Visa Requirements for U.S. Citizens

TOURIST VISA:

• Submit your signed passport having two (2) completely blank “visa” pages and 6 months validity beyond the travel dates. If you need help securing, renewing or updating your passport, please contact GenVisa at 1-888-919-3024 for requirements and fees.
• 2 Visa Application Forms, fully completed and signed.
• 2 Recent Professional Passport-type photographs.
• Copy of return or onward tickets or travel agency/airline itinerary in each traveler’s name.
• A copy of your hotel confirmation(s) is required.
• Letter from your employer confirming that the applicant will return back to the USA and will resume his/her duties after the visit to C.A.R.
• Vaccinations – International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever required. (Photocopy is acceptable)
• Letter of Invitation from family member or friend in C.A.R.

BUSINESS VISA

• Original Letter of invitation on letterhead from a host company or organization in Central African Republic
• A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Central African Republic, Visa Section, Washington DC

The letter must explain all of the following:

• The purpose of travel
• Business reference to be visited in Central African Republic
• Guarantee financial support for the applicant while in Central African Republic
• Return transportation to the U.S.A
